Osornophryne antisana Hoogmoed, 1987, Zool. Meded., Leiden, 61: 212. Holotype: MHNG 2278.49, by original designation. Type locality: "Río Quijos, estribaciones surorientales del Antisana," (0°35′S, 78°07′W; 3600 m), Provincia Napo, Ecuador.

English Names

Napo Plump Toad (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 45).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Napo, Ecuador) and one locality (ca. 23 km south of Pasto, Nariño, Colombia).

Comment

The Colombia locality was reported by Mueses-Cisneros, 2003, Caldasia, 25: 420, and who provided a short description.
