Acad. Sci., 1: 92. Type locality: Beshkentskye Peski [Beshkent sands], Shaartuz region, environs of Shaartuz city [about 37° 15′ N, 68° 07′ E], southwestern Tajikistan. Distinctiveness from Bufo viridis turanensis doubted by Stöck, Günther, and Böhme, 2001, Zool. Abh. Staatl. Mus. Tierkd. Dresden, 51: 302.

None noted. 


Known with confidence only from widely separated localities in northeastern Turkmenistan near the Uzbekistan border and northern Afghanistan near the borders of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan, presumably to be found in those adjacent area.
