Atelopus dimorphus Lötters, 2003, Salamandra, 39: 172. Holotype: KU 209389, by original designation. Type locality: "Cordillera Azul (ca. 9° 11′ S, 75° 50′ W), along the Tingo Maria-Pucallpa road, 1650 m above sea level, Departamento Huánuco, Peru".
