Ansonia echinata Inger and Stuebing, 2009, Raffles Bull. Zool., 57: 528. Holotype: FMNH 272784, by original designation. Type locality: "Bukit Kana, Bintulu Division, Sarawak (2° 39.363′N 112° 54.219′ E) [Malaysia] . . . . specimen collected at night perched on dead leaves at the edge of a small stream (3 m wide) in primary rain forest."
