In a small area (about 6 square km) in Dixie Valley, Churchill County, Nevada, USA. 

Comment

In the Anaxyrus boreas complex according to the original publication. Given that including this species in Bufo requires putting a bunch of Asian and African genera into Bufo as well requires its treatment as member of the genus Anaxyrus (DRF).
