Callulina kreffti Nieden, 1911 "1910", Sitzungsber. Ges. Naturforsch. Freunde Berlin, 1910: 449. Syntypes: ZMB 21777-78 and AMNH 23600 (formerly ZMB 23600) according to Bauer, Günther, and Robeck, 1996, Mitt. Zool. Mus. Berlin, 72: 261; ZMB 21778 invalidly considered lectotype ('Type') by implication of Parker, 1934, Monogr. Frogs Fam. Microhylidae: 181. Type localities: "Amani" (ZMB 21778, AMNH 23600) and "Tanga"(ZMB 21777), Tanzania.

Distribution

Shimba Hills, Kenya and in Tanzania in the East Usambaras, Ulugurus, Ngurus, Ukagurus, and Udzungwa mountains.
