Eleutherodactylus locustus Schmidt, 1920, Ann. New York Acad. Sci., 28: 174. Holotype: AMNH 10240, by original designation. Type locality: "El Yunque, near the Forester's Cabin (about 1300 feet), Luquillo Forest Reserve, Porto Rico [= Puerto Rico]".

Eleutherodactylus cramptoni Schmidt, 1920, Ann. New York Acad. Sci., 28: 176. Holotype: AMNH 10305, by original designation. Type locality: "peak of El Yunque", 3485 feet altitude, Bosque Experimental de Luquillo, Puerto Rico. Synonymy by Schwartz and Thomas, 1975, Spec. Publ. Carnegie Mus. Nat. Hist., 1: 27.

Distribution

Known from widely scattered interior localities in eastern Puerto Rico, 270 to 1050 m elevation.
