Eleutherodactylus alticola Lynn, 1937, Herpetologica, 1: 89. Holotype: USNM 102524, by original designation. Type locality: "summit of Blue Mountain Peak, Parish of St. Thomas, Jamaica. Elevation 7,360 feet; the highest point on the island."

Jamaica; high elevations in the Blue Mountains between Sir Johns Peak and the type locality, 1650–2250 m elevation.
