Eleutherodactylus quidditus Lynch, 2001, Rev. Acad. Colomb. Cienc. Exact. Fis. Nat., 25: 294. Holotype: ICN 45173, by original designation. Type locality: "COLOMBIA, Valle de Cauca, municipio Buenaventura, Estación Forestal (de la Universidad de Tolima) 'Bajo Calima', 50 m, 3° 59´ N 76° 57´ W".

Comment

In the Eleutherodactylus diastema group according to the original publication. Transferred to Diasporus Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 47, on the basis of molecular data. Köhler, 2011, Amph. Cent. Am.: 140–191, provided a key to the genera and species of Brachycephaloidea (= Craugastoridae, Eleutherodactylidae) in Central America and provided maps and photographs of the species, including this one. Lotzkat, Wehrenberg, Haas, and Köhler, 2021, Check List, 17: 1541–1556, reported the species (as Diasporus aff. quidditus) from the upper drainage of Río Guázaro, Parque Nacional Santa Fé, Veraguas, Panama.
