Phrynopus dagmarae Lehr, Aguilar, and Köhler, 2002, J. Herpetol., 36: 209. Holotype: MUSM 20451, by original designation. Type locality: "Palma Pampa (09° 53′ 12″ S, 75° 53′ 22″ W), 3020 m elevation, located approximately 20 km southeast of Chaglla, along the road from Chaglla to Tomyarica, property of P. Baumann, Distrito Chaglla, Provincia Pachitea, Departamento Huánuco, Peru".
