Oreobates antrum Vaz-Silva, Maciel, Andrade, and Amaro, 2018, Zootaxa, 4441: 93. Holotype: MNRJ 91628, by original designation. Known from cave habitats in the states of Goiás (municipalities of São Domingos and Posse) and Tocantíns (municipality of Aurora do Tocantíns), Brazil.

Comment

The sister taxon of Oreobates remotus, with which it was previously confused, according to the original publication. Vaz-Silva, Maciel, Nomura, Morais, Guerra Batista, Santos, Andrade, Oliveira, Brandão, and Bastos, 2020, Guia Ident. Anf. Goiás e Dist. Fed. Brasil Central: 35, provided an account. Motta, Lyra, Gazoni, Parise-Maltempi, and Haddad, 2020, Herpetol. Notes, 13: 561–563, provided new records from the state of Goiás and Tocantíns, Brazil, and mapped the species.
