Type locality: "Hornopampa sector, near Salkantay Mountain, along the road to the Archeological Complex of Choquequirao, 3707 m a.s.l., (13°18′26″S, 72°44′90″ W), Distrito Santa Teresa, Provincia La Convención, Departamento Cusco, Peru".
