Bryophryne mancoinca Mamani, Catenazzi, Ttito, Mallqui, and Chaparro, 2017, Phyllomedusa, 16: 132. Holotype: MUBI 11152, by original designation. Type locality: "Hornopampa sector, near Salkantay Mountain, along the road to the Archeological Complex of Choquequirao, 3707 m a.s.l., (13°18′26″S, 72°44′90″ W), Distrito Santa Teresa, Provincia La Convención, Departamento Cusco, Peru".

Distribution

Transitional area from montane forest to puna at elevation of 3519 to 3707 m at the type locality (Hornopampa sector, near Salkantay Mountain, along the road to the Archeological Complex of Choquequirao, 3707 m elevation), Distrito Santa Teresa, Provincia La Convención, Departamento Cusco, Peru).

Suggested in the original publication to be closely related to Bryophryne flammiventris and Bryophryne gymnotis.
