Type locality: "el Área Ecológica de Conservación Municipal Tinajillas – Rio Gualacenio (03◦ 01’13.8”S, 78◦ 32’51.9”W, 2550 m de elevación), parroquia General Leonidas Plaza, cantón Limón–Indanza, provincia de Morona Santiago, República del Ecuador".
Distribution
Cloud forest at 2250 m in the Reserva Municipal Tinajillas-Gualaceño, province of Morona-Santiago, southeast versant of the Andes of Ecuador.
