Type locality: "Colombia, Departamento de Antioquia, Municipio Urrao, vereda Calles, quebrada Agudelo, Parque Natural Nacional Las Orquídeas, 1410-1430 m."

Distribution

Known from the Pacific slope of the Cordillera Occidental from three localities: Murri, the Parque Natural Nacional Las Orquídeas, and at San José del Palmar, Colombia, 1140–1540 m elevation.

Comment

Possibly related to Eleutherodactylus gracilis the original publication. In the subgenus Pristimantis, but unnassigned to species group according to Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 118and Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 128.
