Pristimantis orcus Lehr, Catenazzi, and Rodríguez, 2009, Zootaxa, 1990: 31. Holotype: MUSM27435, by original designation. Type locality: "Comunidad de Nueva Vida (3° 37´ 57.2S, 75° 20´ 48.9W) at 158 m elevation, Distrito de Trompeteros, Provincia de Loreto, Región Loreto, Peru".

Distribution

Known only from four localities in Loreto and one in San Martin in the northeastern one third of Amazonian Peru; also reported in Cruzeiro do Sul, Acre Brazil; likely to be found in Ecuador and Colombia.

Comment

In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) unistrigatus group, most similar to Pristimantis altamazonicus, Pristimantis diadematus, Pristimantis eurydactylus, and Pristimantis ventrimarmoratus according to the original publication.
