Pristimantis leopardus Rivera-Correa, Jiménez-Rivillas, and Daza-R., 2017, Zootaxa, 4242: 316. Holotype: MHUA-A 8865, by original designation. Distribution

Known from two localities from the Páramo de Sonsón complex: Cerro Las Palomas and Cerro La Vieja, in the northern of the Cordillera Central of Departamento de Antioquia, Colombia, in cloud forests (2820–3035 m elevation) and páramos (3165–3360 m elevation).
