Eleutherodactylus ganonotus Duellman and Lynch, 1988, Proc. Acad. Nat. Sci. Philadelphia, 140: 133. Holotype: ANSP 29279, by original designation. Type locality: "'Yapitya,' 1700 m, on the trail between Logroño and Yaupi, west slope of the Cordillera de Cutucú, Provincia Morona-Santiago, Ecuador".

Distribution

Known only from the west slope of the Cordillera de Cutucú, from the Provincia Morona-Santiago to Napo, Ecuador, 1400 to 2000 m elevation.

In the Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) conspicillatus series, unassigned to species group by Lynch and Duellman, 1997, Univ. Kansas Mus. Nat. Hist. Spec. Publ., 23: 224. In the subgenus Pristimantis, but unnassigned to species group by Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 118, and by Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 127. Reyes-Puig, Reyes-Puig, and Yánez-Muñoz, 2013, Avanc. Cienc. Ingen., Quito, Secc.
