Comment

Previously confused with Pristimantis calcarulatus according to the original publication. Proaño, Proaño-Morales, and Guayasamin, 2022, Ecosistemas, 31 (2: 2137): 1–9, reported a collection from the Sierra de Toisán, Imbabura, Ecuador, and provided a new maximum elevation record.
