Distribution

Cloud forests on the Amazonian slopes of the Cordillera Oriental (1707-2622 m elevation), northern (1500–1600 m elevation) and western (1830 m elevation) slopes of the Cordillera del Cóndor, province of Zamora-Chinchipe, Loja, and the Cordillera de Cutucù (1700 m elevation), province of Morona-Santiago in southern Ecuador. Also recorded from Abra Pardo Miguel (2180 m elevation) in the northern part of the Cordillera Central, in the department of San Martin, Peru.
