Eleutherodactylus auricarens Myers and Donnelly, 2008, Bull. Am. Mus. Nat. Hist., 308: 45. Holotype: EBRG 2725, by original designation. Type locality: "summit of Auyantepui at 5° 54′ N, 62° 29′ W (AMNH--Terramar Camp 2), 1750 m, Bolívar, Venezuela".

Comment

In the Eleutherodactylus unistrigatus group according to the original publication; therefore in Pristimantis (DRF). Not assignable to species group according to Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 127. Señaris, Lampo, Rojas-Runjaic, and Barrio-Amorós, 2014, Guía Ilust.
