Pristimantis adiastolus Duellman and Hedges, 2007, Phyllomedusa, 6: 121. Holotype: KU 291681, by original designation. Type locality: "1.5 km NW Cacazú, 1200 m, 10° 38′ S, 75° 07′ W, Departamento Pasco, Peru".

Distribution

Lower humid montane forest at an elevation of 1200 m on the eastern slopes of the Cordillera Yanachaga in Departmento Pasco, central Peru.

Comment

In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) peruvianus group, most similar to Pristimantis bipunctatus, according to the original publication. In the Pristimantis  peruvianus species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 120, and Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 125. Biodiversity, 20(1: 2130464): 1–16, who reported on phylogenetics and biogeography, and who noted the nominal species to be composed of at least two lineage-species.
