Eleutherodactylus manezinho Garcia, 1996, Biociencias, Porto Alegre, 4: 59. Holotype: MZUSP 72037, by original designation. Type locality: "região do Córrego Grande, cidade de Florianópolis (27° 36′ 30 S 48° 30′ 30 W), Estado de Santa Catarina, Brasil".

Known only from the type locality (near Florianopolis as well as Ilha do Arvoredo, Santa Catarina, Brazil, 100–700 m elevation.


In the Eleutherodactylus guentheri group according to the original publication. In the Ischnocnema lactea species series of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 27. Excluded from any species series by Padial, Grant, and Frost, 2014, Zootaxa, 3825: 122.
