Leptodactylodon wildi Amiet and Dowsett-Lemaire, 2000, Alytes, 18: 2. Holotype: MNHNP 2000.0607, by original designation. Type locality: "Kodmin (Cameroun, evn. 1350 m)".

English Names

Wild's Egg Frog (Channing and Rödel, 2019, Field Guide Frogs & Other Amph. Afr.: 246).

Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of the villages of Kodmin and Edib in the Bakossi mountains, southwestern Cameroon, 1000-1350 m elevation.

Comment

Most similar to Leptodactylodon polyacanthus, Leptodactylodon albiventris, and Leptodactylodon bueanus according to the original publication. In the Leptodactylus ovatus group according to Rödel and Pauwels, 2003, Salamandra, 39: 142.
