Arthroleptis formosus Rödel, Kouamé, Doumbia, and Sandberger-Loua, 2011, Zootaxa, 3011: 17. Holotype: ZMB 75480 (GenBank #: JN408725), by original designation. Type locality: "western Guinea, Préfecture Télimélé, N 10.8549167, W -13.7417222, 286 m a.s.l., . . . , degraded gallery forest, small creak [sic] present, surrounding areas with corn, peanuts and rice fields".

Distribution

Forests and forested savannas in western Guinea in the region of the type locality although expected to be found more widely.
