Distribution

Range poorly understood at present although as currently understood the northern limit in Chile is Tomé, Bíobio Region, and the southern limit is in the western foothills of the Andes at Los Mañíos (ca. 40° 20′ S); in Argentina, adjacent to Chile, it is found at Lago Paimún, at about 39°50′S, and Termas de Epulafquén, both in the province of Neuquen, although it may extend farther north in that country.

Geographic Occurrence

Natural Resident: Argentina, Chile
