Colostethus betancuri Rivero and Serna, 1991, Trianea, 4: 492. Holotype: MHNCSJ 2372 (very damaged according to T. Grant, in litt.), by original designation. Type locality: "Antadó, municipio de Ituango, 1450 m, Antioquia, Colombia".
