Colostethus fugax Morales and Schulte, 1993, Alytes, 11: 100. Holotype: USNM 282831, by original designation. Type locality: "cabaceras del Río Bobonaza (01° 31′, 77° 19′, apróx.), 686 m (2,250 ft), Provincia de Pastaza, Ecuador".

English Names

Pastaza Rocket Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 48).

Distribution

Eastern slope of the Cordillera Oriental of southern Ecuador, from 600-700 m elevation, in the valley of the Río Pastaza.
