Colostethus brachistriatus Rivero and Serna, 1986, Caldasia, 15: 525. Holotype: MHNCSJ 298, by original designation. Type locality: "Ginebra, Departamento del Valle, Colombia, alrededor de 1500 m".

Colostethus brachystriatus — Rivero and Serna, 1989 "1988", Caribb. J. Sci., 24: 145. Incorrect subsequent spelling.

English Names

Stripe-throated Rocket Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 48).

Distribution

Region of the type locality on the western slope of the Cordillera Central, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, ca. 1500 m elevation.
