Colostethus argyrogaster Morales and Schulte, 1993, Alytes, 11: 98. Holotype: MUSM 14256, by original designation. Type locality: "Imazá (4° 15′, 78° 20′, apróx.), Bagua Grande, Departamento de Amazonas, Perú".

English Names

Imaza Rocket Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 48).

Distribution

Known only from two localities in the Rio Cainarachi drainage east of the Cordillera Central (Departamento San Martín) and from two localities in the middle Rio Marañón near the northern end of the Cordillera Central, Departamento Amazonas, Peru.
