Telmatobius duseni Andersson, 1914, Ark. Zool., 9(3): 1. Syntypes: NHRM (5 specimens); NHRM 1606 designated lectotype by Heyer, 1983, Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 96: 549. Type locality: "Parana, Serra do mar; Ypiranga, in crevices and cracks in the vertical cliffs along the railway", Brazil.

English Names

Ypiranga Button Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 71).

Distribution

Known only from the type locality (Ypiranga, Serra do Mar, Parana, Brazil).

Comment

In the Cycloramphus fuliginosus group according to Heyer, 1983, Proc. Biol. Soc. Washington, 96: 548. Removed from the synonymy of Cycloramphus asper by Heyer, 1983, Arq. Zool., São Paulo, 30: 303, where it had been placed by Bokermann, 1951, Arq. Mus. Nac., Rio de Janeiro, 42: 82.
