Cycloramphus catarinensis Heyer, 1983, Arq. Zool., São Paulo, 30: 298. Holotype: USNM 137675, by original designation. Type locality: "Brasil; Santa Catarina, Petrópolis (probably in error for Theresópolis-Queçaba)".
English Names
Santa Catarina Button Frog (Frank and Ramus, 1995, Compl. Guide Scient. Common Names Amph. Rept. World: 71).
Distribution
Known only from the type locality and Ilha de Santa Catarina near Florianopolis, in Santa Catarina, Brazil.
Comment
Lingnau, Solé, Dallacorte, and Kwet, 2008, North-West. J. Zool., Romania, 4: 230, provided the record for Ilha Catarina.
