Phyllobates (Hypodictyon) palmatus Werner, 1899, Verh. Zool. Bot. Ges. Wien, 49: 479. Holotype: Originally ZIUG; now ZFMK 28134, according to Böhme and Bischoff, 1984, Bonn. Zool. Monogr., 19: 180. Type locality: "Fusagasugá, 1700 m, (bei Bogotá)", Departamento Cundinamarca, Colombia.

Distribution

Cordillera Oriental (both slopes), eastern slope of the Cordillera Central, and Serranía de La Macarena at elevations of 350-2500 m elevation, Colombia.
