Type locality: "COLOMBIA, Departamento de ANTIOQUIA, Muncipio de Urrao, carretera Urrao—Caicedo, vereda El Chuscal, Quebrada "La Nevera", 2680 m.s.n.m.".

Distribution
Known only from three localities (2030-2680 m elevation) in the northern part of the Cordillera Occidental of Antioquia Department, Colombia.
