Eleutherodactylus viridis Ruiz-Carranza, Lynch, and Ardila-Robayo, 1997, Rev. Acad. Colomb. Cienc. Exact. Fis. Nat., 21: 169. Holotype: ICN 30939, by original designation. Type locality: "Colombia, Departamento de Antioquia, Municipio Frontino, Km. 18 carretera Nutibara - La Blanquita (= Murri), 1940 m."

English Names

None noted.

Distribution

Known from three localities in the western part of Antioquia, Colombia, on the western and eastern slopes of the Cordillera Occidental between 1480 and 1940 m elevation.

Comment

Likely the sister species of Eleutherodactylus ganonotus according to the original publication. In the subgenus Pristimantis, but unnassigned to species group by Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 118.
