Distribution
Five localities at elevations of 1700-2020 m in cloud forest in the humid subtropical regime and humid temperate regime on the western flank of the Andes in extreme southern Colombia (Nariņo Department) and provinces of Carchi, Pichincha, and Cotopaxi, Ecuador.
