Eleutherodactylus thymelensis Lynch, 1972, Herpetologica, 28: 144. Holotype: KU 117719, by original designation. Type locality: "Páramos del Angel, about 23 km SW Tulcan, Carchi Province, Ecuador, 3700 m".
