Type locality: "Colombia, Departamento de Cundinamarca, municipio de Cogua, Vereda Rodamontal, cabeceras del río Susaguá, 2700 msnm. Coordenadas: N 05° 03′ 31.4″- W 074° 01′ 11.3″".

Distribution
Remnant forests on the western slope of the Cordillera Oriental in the Departamento de Cundinamarca, Colombia, 2530-2900 m elevation.
Comment
In the Eleutherodactylus unistrigatus group, Eleutherodactylus devillei assembly according to the original publication. In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) devillei species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 121.
