Eleutherodactylus simoterus Lynch, 1980, Caldasia, 13: 177. Holotype: ICN 759, by original designation. Type locality: "Páramo de Letras, páramo-subpáramo, vereda Albania, Municipio de Herveo, Departamento del Tolima, 3200 m alt."

Distribution

Northern and northeastern flanks of Cordillera Central at elevation of 3200-4100 m, departaments of Caldas, Risaralda, and Tolima, Colombia, 2700-4350 m elevation.
