Distribution
Known only from the quebradas along the highway between Cartago and San José del Palmar on the western slopes of the Serranía de los Paraguas, 1850-1860 m elevation, Departamento Chocó, Colombia.
Comment
Considered the sister species of Eleutherodactylus pugnax in the original publication.
