Eleutherodactylus scitulus Duellman, 1978, Trans. Kansas Acad. Sci., 81: 67. Holotype: LSUMZ 26097, by original designation. Type locality: "Yuraccyacu on trail from Tambo to Valle del Apurimac, 2620 m, Departamento Ayacucho, Perú (12° 47′ S; 73° 54′ W)".
