Colostethus lacrimosus Myers, 1991, Am. Mus. Novit., 3010: 8. Holotype: AMNH A-88828, by original designation. Type locality: "Quebrada Guanguí, about 0.5 km above its junction with Río Patia, 100-200 m eleva., in upper Río Saija drainage, Department of Cauca, Colombia. The type locality is roughly 2°50′ N, 77°25′ W".

Distribution

Lowland rainforest of the Río Atrato, Río San Juan, and Río Guanguí drainage of western (departments of Cauca, Chocó, and Valle del Cauca) Colombia, 100-640 m elevation.
