Pristimantis viridis Valencia, Yánez-Muńoz, Betancourt-Yépez, Terán-Valdez, and Guayasamin, 2011 "2010", Avanc. Cienc. Ingen., Quito, Secc. B, 2 (3): 42. Holotype: FHGO 6956, by original designation. Type locality: "Urbina (00° 44′ 45.1″ N, 78° 18′ 02.9″ W, 1874 m), provincia de Imbabura, Ecuador". Junior second homonym of Eleutherodactylus viridis Ruiz-Carranza, Lynch, and Ardila-Robayo, 1997.

Distribution

Northwestern slopes of the Andes in the provinces of Carchi and Imbabura, Ecuador, 1874 to 2237 m elevation.

Comment

Similar to members of the Pristimantis galdi group but not so assigned according to the original publication.
