Known from three isolated localities in cloud forest on the western slope of the Cordillera Oriental in the Department of Cundinamarca, Colombia, 2400-2800 m elevation.
Most similar to Eleutherodactylus lynchi and Eleutherodactylus bogotensis according to the original publication. Lynch and Renjifo, 2001, Guia Anf. Rept.
