Eleutherodactylus platychilus Lynch, 1996, Rev. Acad. Colomb. Cienc. Exact. Fis. Nat., 20: 340. Holotype: ICN 36901, by original designation. Type locality: "quebrada La Seca, finca San Pedro, ca. 7 km S Queremal, Municipio de Dagua, Departamento Valle del Cauca, Colombia, 1800-1850 m".

Distribution

Cloud forests on the western slope of the Cordillera Occidental from the Department of Cauca north through the departments of Risaralda, Valle de Cauca, and Chocó) to the Department of Antioquia, Colombia, 1580-2600 m elevation.

Comment

Most closely related to Eleutherodactylus permixtus, according to the original publication. In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) unistrigatus species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 128.
