Type locality: "the vicinity of Mazán (03° 32′ 03″ S, 73° 10′ 54.7″W; ca. 110 m a.s.l.), ca. 30 km strai[gh]t NE of Iquitos, Provincia Maynas, Region Loreto, Peru".
