Eleutherodactylus medemi Lynch, 1994, Rev. Acad. Colomb. Cienc. Exact. Fis. Nat., 19: 190. Holotype: ICN 21213, by original designation. Type locality: "Quebrada Salinas, Las Salinas de Upín, Municipio de Restrepo, Departamento de Meta, Colombia, 750-760 m alt."

Distribution

Forests of the slopes and piedmont of the Cordillera Oriental in the departments of Cundinamarca, Caqueta, and Meta (450-1800 m), Colombia.

Comment

In the Eleutherodactylus conspicillatus group according to the original publication, possibly the sister species of Eleutherodactylus vilarsi. In the Eleutherodactylus (Eleutherodactylus) conspicillatus series, Eleutherodactylus conspicillatus group of Lynch and Duellman, 1997, Univ. Kansas Mus. Nat. Hist. Spec. Publ., 23: 228. Malambo-L. and Marin-V., 2006, Herpetol. Rev., 37: 87, provided a record for Caqueta, Colombia.
