Eleutherodactylus kareliae La Marca, 2005, Herpetotropicos, Mérida, 2: 48. Holotype: ULABG 3376, by original designation. Type locality: "Quebrada La Corcovada, aproximadamente 8 km de Laguna Mucubají, en vía Apartaderos--Santo Domingo, 3000 m.s.n.m., 8° 48′ 42″ N y 70° 47′ 46″ W, Municipio Cardenal Quintero, Estado Mérida, Venezuela".

Distribution

Known only from the vicinity of the type locality in the Laguna Mucubají and Laguna La Victoria, Mérida Andes, Estado Mérida, Venezuela, 2500-3395 m elevation.
