Eleutherodactylus jubatus García and Lynch, 2006, Zootaxa, 1171: 41. Holotype: ICN 52478, by original designation. Type locality: "Colombia, Departamento del Cauca: municipio El Tambo, Munchique National Park, sector La Romelia, 2550-2750 m. 02° 38′-40′ N, 076° 54′-55′ W".

Known only from the type locality in cloud forest (Munchique National Park, El Tambo, Departamento del Cauca, Colombia, 2550-2750 m elevation).
Comment
Closely related to Eleutherodactylus kelephus according to the original publication. In the Pristimantis (Pristimantis) unistrigatus species group of Hedges, Duellman, and Heinicke, 2008, Zootaxa, 1737: 128.
