Colostethus picachos Ardila-Robayo, Acosta-Galvis, and Coloma, 2000 "1999", Rev. Acad. Colomb. Cienc. Exact. Fis. Nat., 23: 240. Holotype: ICN 42824, by original designation. Type locality: "COLOMBIA, Departamento del Caquetá, Municipio San Vicente del Caguán, Inspección de policía Gayabal, vereda San Jorge, quebrada San Jorge, ca. 2° 50′ latitud N, 74° 52′ longitud W de Greenwich, 1600 m s.n.m."

Distribution

Currently known only from the Parque Nacional Cordillera los Picachos, eastern Andean Cordillera of Caquetá, Colombia, at 1600 m elevation.

Comment

Stated in the original publication to be in both the Colostethus inguinalis group (Group IV) and Colostethus fuliginosus group (Group VI) of Rivero, 1990 "1988", Mem. Soc. Cienc. Nat. La Salle, 48: 3-32. See comment under Allobates.
