Eleutherodactylus ganonotus Duellman and Lynch, 1988, Proc. Acad. Nat. Sci. Philadelphia, 140: 133. Holotype: ANSP 29279, by original designation. Type locality: "'Yapitya,' 1700 m, on the trail between Logroño and Yaupi, west slope of the Cordillera de Cutucú, Provincia Morona-Santiago, Ecuador".
